Bass Club Manager · Getting started
Create and set up your club
Follow these steps to create your club website, prepare a season, and publish your first schedule.
Before you begin
Have these details ready
- Your club’s name and a short website address. The address becomes
bassclubs.org/your-cluband must be unique. - Your name, email address, a username, and a password with at least 12 characters.
- For the schedule: the season year, tournament dates, lake and launch details, and any scoring or payout rules your club uses.
Step 1
Create your club account and website
- Open Create a club site.
- Enter the club name and website address. Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens for the address. If it is already taken, try adding your town, state, or “bass-club.”
- Enter your name, username, email, and password, then select Create club site.
- Your club and owner account are created together. You will be signed in and taken to the club dashboard.
Your public site address is available immediately. You can fill in its details before sharing it with anglers.
Step 2
Fill in the public club website
On the Club dashboard, add the information you want visitors to see:
- Club name, tagline, city or region, and public contact email.
- Mission, About, and Membership information.
- Website and social page links, plus a visual theme.
- A club logo. JPG, PNG, and WebP images are supported.
Select Save club profile & theme, then use Preview site or View public site to review what visitors will see.
Step 3
Create a season and set its rules
Open Season & roster and create a season using its year. For a new club, review the default rules before using them. When setting up a later season, you can copy the previous season’s settings and adjust them.
Review the season settings that apply to your club, including scoring, team or individual participation, weigh-in format, penalties, bass species, Angler of the Year eligibility, and payout settings. Save the season settings before creating its schedule.
Add anglers to the club directory from Anglers, then use the season roster to mark who is active for the season, manage guest status, and record dues as needed. An angler can be in the club directory without being active on every season roster.
Step 4
Add lakes and launch locations
Go to Locations and add each lake and launch ramp your club uses. Tournaments select from this saved list, so add the locations before building the schedule.
Enter the lake and ramp details and, when available, confirm the map position. Accurate coordinates help show the civil twilight time for an event.
Step 5
Build the tournament schedule
Open Tournaments, choose the season, and add each event. Every tournament needs a date and a saved location. You can also add a host, blast-off details, and choose whether the event counts toward Angler of the Year.
Review the season selector before adding or editing events so each tournament is attached to the correct year.
Step 6
Run events and share results
- Use Enter results after an event to record weigh-in results.
- Review the AOY scoreboard and public tournament results.
- Post announcements in Updates & News and add photos in Photo gallery.
- Add the applicable season’s bylaws from the Club dashboard. Published bylaws appear on the public site.
- Visit the public site to check the schedule, club details, updates, photos, bylaws, and results.
Share the work
